Hello Maria!

It was so nice to hear from you! Sorry I haven’t written for a long time because I’ve been very busy and exhausted. I’ve got a lot of work so I don’t have much free time for myself.

My first year at University has been a beautiful new experience. At the beginning I felt very nervous but now I think that I chose the correct course because I’m learning a lot about children and the way they learn. I love what I’m studying and in my opinion I’ll like my job because I’m teaching, educating and learning. I decided to study education because when I spend time with children I feel safe and very happy. I’m excited about finishing my studies!

That’s all for now. I hope you’re getting on well in your second year at college. Can you visit me next weekend or in summer?

Nowadays, there are new methodologies and activities. Our world is continually changing and modern methodologies have appeared.

On the one hand, modern methodologies are important for learning and teaching, for example: ICT. With them people can live better because we can do the activities. If we use new methodologies in class, students learn through the experience and that is good because they can construct their own knowledge.

On the other hand, learning with modern methodologies can be challenging and we need to spend a lot of time. Therefore, in the end, teachers use traditional methodologies and this is bad because students don’t learn.

In conclusion, I think that modern methodologies are very important for life. Teachers must know how to use them because they should teach with them. New methodologies are more important than the traditional methodologies if we use them well. In my opinion modern methodologies are the future.
